Job summary

ENOVIX Corporation in Penang seeks a Staff Equipment Engineer to act as the technical authority for advanced manufacturing equipment and automation systems. You will lead development from concept to high‑volume production across multiple engineering disciplines.

The role requires strong leadership without direct management responsibility, global collaboration, and delivery of equipment roadmaps, FAT/SAT, and integration with MES and factory automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher in mechanical/manufacturing engineering.
10+ years in manufacturing equipment development.
Experience leading complex equipment projects from concept to deployment.
Technical leadership without direct management responsibility.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for design, development, qualification, deployment, and lifecycle management of advanced manufacturing equipment.
Define equipment engineering strategies for scale-up and new technology introduction.
Lead equipment architecture reviews and define specifications.
Support FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning, and production qualification.
Partner with OEM suppliers to develop customized manufacturing equipment.
Drive optimization through engineering analysis and DOE/ SPC.
