Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental consulting for infrastructure or energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian environmental regulations and permitting processes.
• Experience with EIA preparation, environmental monitoring and reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist in the preparation and submission of EIAs and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian environmental laws, regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with government agencies such as the DOE for approvals and inspections.
• Monitor environmental performance during construction and commissioning phases.
• Advise on mitigation strategies for environmental risks and impacts.
• Support the development and implementation of environmental management plans.
• Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure adherence to environmental protocols.
• Prepare environmental reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
