Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager (Electronics) to lead the Test Engineering function, oversee ICT, FCT, PCBA testing, and drive process improvements across the engineering teams.

The role requires 12–15 years in Test Engineering with at least 5 years in management and mandatory EMS manufacturing experience. Strong technical leadership and CAPA/8D experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 12-15 years of Test Engineering experience, including at least 5 years in management.
• EMS manufacturing experience is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on expertise in ICT, FCT, PCBA debugging, system testing and failure analysis.
• Experience with networking products such as switches, routers or complex electronic systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Test Engineering function, overseeing engineering teams and daily operations.
• Manage ICT, FCT, PCBA functional testing, system testing, debugging and failure analysis.
• Provide hands-on technical support for complex product failures and production escalations.
• Drive improvements in test yield, FPY, MTTR, cycle time and equipment efficiency.

• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams on technical and quality matters.
• Develop engineering capabilities and drive departmental performance.
