Job summary

AYP Group in Malaysia seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to own engineering, lead development, DevOps and QA, and build a platform ensuring payroll accuracy across APAC. You will set technical direction, review code, and shape architecture while collaborating with Product on requirements and roadmaps.

You will own cloud infrastructure, security and data protection, drive AI initiatives, and lead a growing engineering team to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Set technical architecture and roadmap from platform priorities
• Own delivery across the team, balancing scope, time and quality
• Own cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and incident response
• Own security and data protection across markets
• Lead AI direction from proof of concept to production
• Define engineering standards and manage technical debt
• Grow engineering, DevOps and QA teams from onboarding
• Act as final technical decision-maker as the team scales
