We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer (Team Lead) to join HAAS TECHNOLOGIES SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to lead a talented engineering team whilst driving technical excellence and innovation across our organisation. As Senior Engineer (Team Lead), you will be responsible for overseeing the technical direction of your team, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality technology solutions. This role is pivotal in bridging technical expertise with team leadership, making it integral to our continued growth and success in the Information and Communication Technology sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional software engineering or systems development experience, with at least 2 years in a team leadership or senior technical role
• Proven expertise in software development, with proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to modern application development
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns and best practices in software engineering
• Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring and developing technical teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with agile methodologies and experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture or modern DevOps practices is highly desirable
• Track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects on time and within scope
