Job summary

Nokia Solutions and Networks Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a senior embedded software engineer to own full‑cycle development for OLT products. You will analyze requirements, design, implement in C/C++, debug kernel drivers, and optimize Linux-based telecom software to meet performance targets.

Responsibilities include clock synchronization development (IEEE 1588v2, PTP, NTP), feature iteration, and supporting deployment and upgrades of fiber broadband access products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or above in Communication, Electronic Information, Computer or related majors.
• 10+ years embedded product development experience, proficient in C/C++.
• Solid Linux embedded development capability with kernel adaptation and driver development.

Responsibilities

• Complete full-lifecycle requirement analysis, technical design, coding, debugging and performance optimization for Nokia OLT products.
• Implement embedded Linux system adaptation, driver debugging and service module tuning.
• Design, develop and optimize clock synchronization functions (IEEE 1588v2, PTP, NTP) for telecom timing specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to verify products and ensure smooth delivery.
