Job summary

Haemonetics is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to design, develop, verify, and release electrical test fixtures for production in Penang. You will interface with contract manufacturers on ICT/FCT systems and strengthen in-house test capabilities.

You will lead fixture development, automate test software (LabVIEW, Python, or C/C++), apply DFM/DFT, and work with cross-functional teams across sites to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, preferably in medical devices or other high-reliability industries.
• Proven ICT and FCT development and debug experience with test equipment (e.g. Keysight/Agilent 3070, Teradyne).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, verify, validate, and release electrical test fixtures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve fixtures used in production.
• Interface with contract manufacturers on ICT and FCT systems.
• Develop automated test software using LabVIEW, Python, or C/C++.
• Apply DFM and DFT principles and review schematics/PCBs for testability.
• Support fixture calibration, preventive maintenance, spares, and obsolescence planning.
