Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Electrical QA/QC Lead to join our team on major construction programs. You will drive quality management for electrical works and ensure adherence to project specs and standards.

You will develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan, review ITPs, procedures, and testing protocols, and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and client representatives to manage NCRs and close-out actions. Strong comms and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical QA/QC within large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in Industrial, Semiconductor, Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or Mission-Critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, testing and commissioning processes, and quality management systems.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan for electrical works.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, quality procedures, and testing protocols.
• Monitor the quality of electrical installation works, including power distribution, substations, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, lighting, grounding, and ELV systems.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and surveillance activities to verify compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, FAT/SAT reports, and test documentation.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, preventive actions, and quality close-out activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, commissioning teams, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and applicable electrical codes.
• Track quality KPIs and prepare regular quality reports for project stakeholders.
• Support testing, commissioning, punch list closure, and final handover activities.
