Job summary

J. Roger Preston (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer to support design, tendering and project coordination for diverse M&E consultancy projects in Malaysia.

You will lead technical work, liaise with clients and authorities, and supervise daily activities to ensure timely delivery. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience in M&E consultancy, preferably in commercial, high-rise,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant M&E consultancy experience.
• Experience in commercial, high-rise, industrial, healthcare, or data centre projects is preferred.
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in meetings, site visits, and approvals.
• Lead and coordinate with CAD/BIM teams for projects.
• Prepare design, tender docs, BQ, progress claims, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and ISO procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and supervise day-to-day project activities.
• Liaise with clients, architects, authorities, and contractors.
