Camtronics Group in Malaysia seeks a Senior Electrical & Electronics Engineer to lead electrical and electronics engineering activities for NPI and mass production products.

You will translate customer specifications into design requirements and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Production to review cable and harness drawings, BOMs and ensure smooth transfer of designs to manufacturing.

Senior Electrical & Electronics Engineer

Lead and execute electrical and electronics engineering activities for NPI & Mass Production products and systems.

Interpret and translate customer specifications and technical requirements into electrical/electronic design requirements.

Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to develop and review cable/harness drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications & ensure smooth product transfer to manufacturing.

Provide technical support to prototype builds, engineering builds, pilot runs, and mass-production launches

Select appropriate electrical and electronic components based on technical, reliability, cost, availability, and manufacturability requirements

Support the design and development of control systems, power distribution, sensors, actuators, motors, interfaces, and electronic assemblies

Conduct design reviews and provide technical recommendations to ensure robust and manufacturable designs

Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements

Develop and execute electrical/electronic testing and validation plans for new and modified products

Analyze test results and lead corrective actions for failures and non-conformities

Troubleshoot product failures, intermittent faults, electrical defects, and functional test failures

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions

Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and technicians

Electrical and electronics engineering expertise

Experience with NPI & Mass Production products and systems

Knowledge of industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements

Experience with design reviews and technical recommendations

Experience with testing and validation plans

Technical leadership and mentoring capabilities
