Job summary

DayOne is seeking a Senior EHS Specialist to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance during the construction of a large-scale data center. You will ensure adherence to local regulations and corporate EHS standards, aiming for a zero-incident workplace.

The role requires managing high-risk activities, conducting audits, leading permit processes, and coordinating with regulators. A strong background in ISO 45001/ISO 14001 and field-based training is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS experience.
• Experience in large-scale construction, preferably data centers, oil & gas, or semiconductor fab.
• Experience managing EHS during high-voltage electrical installations (33kV/132kV) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce the EHS plan and safety programs on site.
• Lead incident reporting, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Deliver site safety orientations and toolbox talks; ensure valid worker qualifications.
• Monitor environmental controls, waste management, and vector prevention programs.
• Prepare monthly EHS stats and coordinate with contractors and authorities.
