Job summary

AAC Technologies (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking an EHS professional to develop and implement comprehensive safety and environmental policies at its Kulai site. You will drive compliance with local regulations and global corporate standards across departments.

You will lead ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 initiatives, conduct audits, document procedures, and train staff. The role requires strong communication, data tracking, and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS implementation and management.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct training and collaborate across functions and with external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in managing and tracking safety data using computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies covering fire protection, environmental, chemical safety, and security in compliance with local regulations, codes, and global corporate standards.
• Implement and manage ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) systems, including audits, documentation, and employee training.
• Plan and execute environmental and chemical safety programs, conduct internal safety audits, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Continuously monitor and improve general safety practices, PPE compliance, and workplace safety performance.
• Oversee security operations, prepare work plans, monitor performance, and manage security-related risks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain emergency response plans for safety and security incidents.
