Job summary

Capgemini Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Full Stack .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable software with an emphasis on Angular front-ends and .NET Core services, operating in an Agile environment.

You will own and evolve CI/CD pipelines, embrace IaC with Terraform/Bicep, ensure security and reliability, and collaborate with product managers and data analysts to deliver robust cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure.

Job description

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
• Participate in all phases of cloud development from requirements definition and design to development, deployment, and maintenance, performance tuning, and monitoring. Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
• Develop and manage well-functioning Angular applications.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
• Write technical documentation.
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software.
• Own the full CI/CD pipeline — not just code delivery but pipeline design, build optimization, deployment strategy, and release gating — treating automation as a first-class engineering concern.
• Embed Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices: provision and manage cloud resources via Terraform or Bicep, ensuring environments are reproducible, version-controlled, and auditable.
• Design deployment pipelines with rollback capability, feature flags, and canary or blue-green deployment strategies to minimize production risk.
• Monitor application health post-deployment using observability tooling; treat deployment as complete only when telemetry confirms stability.
• Contribute to engineering standards around branching strategy, code review, and release management — shaping team practices, not just following them.
• Create security and data protection settings.
• Embed security thinking into every phase of development — threat modelling during design, secure coding practices during build, and vulnerability scanning during CI/CD.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Full Stack .Net Developer in Agile environments.
• Minimum 6+ years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated ability to work independently and drive technical decisions.
• Hands-on professional experience with Microsoft Azure including App Services, AKS, Azure DevOps, and Azure Monitor.
• In-depth knowledge of Angular, .Net Core Framework, C#, Web APIs.
• Expertise in building, testing, and maintaining Angular applications and services on Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS. Ability to create web content with design that can adapt to different screen and window sizes of a variety of devices is essential.
• Strong DevOps experience: CI/CD pipeline design and ownership using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins; IaC with Terraform or Bicep; deployment strategies including blue-green, canary, and feature flags.
• Demonstrated security mindset: hands-on experience with OWASP Top 10 remediation, secure API design, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning integration in CI/CD.
• Architectural thinking: proven ability to independently design systems, evaluate trade-offs, document decisions, and guide teams — not simply implement what is specified.
• Experience producing architecture decision records (ADRs), solution design documents, and technical proposals for review.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
• Outstanding communication, presentation abilities and teamwork skills.
