Job summary

EPF Malaysia is seeking a senior investment professional to deliver ROI and maintain portfolio health for domestic public equities in line with governance guidelines. You will track market performance, conduct equity research, and advise on buy/sell decisions to achieve income targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of fund management experience, with strong analytical and communication skills and fluency in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Banking, Finance/Investment or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant fund management, equity research or related experience.
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of market performance and invested portfolio progress.
• Research and recommend buys/sells per approved guidelines.
• Monitor mandate status and make portfolio decisions to generate income.
• Continuously monitor portfolio to meet investment objectives.
• Develop sector/company expertise using top-down/bottom-up research.
• Prepare research reports on equity investments and new prospects.
• Contribute to weekly strategy meetings for investment decisions.
• Present findings to management to support decisions.
• Perform duties as required by supervisor.
• Mentor less experienced team members on fund management and research.
