Job summary

Axiom is seeking a Buyer Direct located in Prai or Batu Kawan, Penang to support its global procurement and supply chain operations. You will build strong supplier relationships, manage orders and coordinate with production planners to ensure timely material availability for manufacturing.

Key duties include placing and adjusting POs, tracking shipments, performing weekly stock checks, and maintaining procurement records. A commitment to data privacy and process improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relations with suppliers and manage communications.
• Place and adjust purchase orders according to production plans.
• Track shipments and confirm orders, coordinate with warehouses and freight forwarders.
• Monitor stock levels and minimize obsolescence through regular reports and reviews.
• Approve invoices and manage procurement records and metrics.
