Job summary

Axiom in Perai, Penang is hiring a Commodity Analyst Indirect to lead sourcing strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization across indirect spend categories from Perai, Penang. The role focuses on RFQ support, price analysis, and supplier selection.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and finance to clarify requirements, monitor supplier performance, and drive cost savings, cost avoidance, and inventory optimization while adhering to procurement policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or materials planning.
• Experience in data analysis, RFQ handling, and supplier coordination.
• Knowledge of indirect procurement or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills (cost analysis, pricing comparison).
• Proficiency in Excel and procurement/ERP systems.
