In this role, you will lead the administration, security, and optimization of our cloud-first IT ecosystem. Our environment is SaaS-based with a cloud-native directory infrastructure (no on-premises Active Directory). You will be responsible for end-to-end device management across multiple platforms, identity & access integration, zero trust networking, and enterprise productivity platforms.

Responsibilities
Cloud Directory & Identity Access Management (IAM)
  • Administer and maintain our cloud-native directory service (serving as our primary identity provider in a non-Active Directory environment).
  • Lead platform and application integrations using SSO, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and LDAP to enable seamless, secure access across 3rd-party SaaS applications.
Endpoint Management & Device Strategy
  • Administer Windows, macOS, and mobile endpoints, taking end-to-end ownership of device provisioning, patching, OS upgrades, software deployment, and policy enforcement.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to improve endpoint provisioning, software deployment, and overall operational efficiency.
Zero Trust & Modern Network Access
  • Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to design, implement, and maintain a Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solution to secure remote access and endpoint connections.
Productivity Suites & SaaS Ecosystem
  • Manage enterprise SaaS and DaaS applications, ensuring optimal configuration, user management, and operational support.
  • Execute full lifecycle system administration, taking ownership of application onboarding, upgrades, and system consolidations while maintaining clear project timelines, quality standards, and proactive stakeholder communication.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and other business departments to align digital workplace solutions with organizational needs, and elevate critical technical issues effectively to the Digital Workplace Manager.
  • Apply ITIL-aligned operational practices for incident, problem, and change management to guarantee high platform reliability and service continuity.
  • Maintain accurate process, configuration, and operational documentation in strict compliance with enterprise change management procedures.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and structured support for their technical development.
  • Recommend and implement best practices for platform performance, endpoint management, and operational processes to continuously drive team growth, platform modernization, and efficiency.
Requirements

  • Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar) to improve platform and endpoint operations.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Knowledge of systems monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
Soft Skills & Professional Attributes
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of working effectively across various departments and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills under complex operational conditions.
