Job summary

Wolfspeed’s Ipoh-based Senior Staff Die Level Test Manufacturing Engineer will partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in manufacturability, yield, performance, quality and reliability for our power products. You will lead or assist in setting up equipment, production lines and processes, and implement changes to optimize output.

Ramp new products from R&D, monitor performance, and create comprehensive process documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment with a relevant engineering degree.
• Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced high-volume manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross functional team to drive improvements in manufacturability, yield, performance, quality and reliability for our power products.
• Lead or assist in setting up equipment, production lines and processes and implement process changes and equipment modifications.
• Ramp new products released from R&D while monitoring performance and driving improvements.
• Create and update detailed documentation for processes and procedures.
• Direct and manage design implementation of required process changes and modifications.
• Plan, conduct and direct complex projects or major phases of significant projects.
• Work directly with contract manufacturing engineering and manufacturing personnel and equipment suppliers.
• Prevent quality excursions, monitor process performance, and compile and analyze data to detect any process or product anomalies
• Identify and implement items for improvement including upgrades to equipment and process
