Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable infrastructure across AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and other platforms. You will build CI/CD pipelines, manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes, and implement IaC using Terraform and Ansible.

You will monitor performance, security, and costs, lead incident response and root-cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant DevOps/SRE experience.
• Strong hands-on cloud experience across AWS and Alibaba Cloud; additional clouds are a plus.
• Experience managing physical servers and on-prem infrastructure is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms.
• Manage physical and on-premises servers, networking, storage, and security components.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, deployment, and rollback.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes; implement infrastructure as code with Terraform/Ansible.
• Establish monitoring, centralized logging, alerting, and performance dashboards.
• Monitor and optimize performance, availability, capacity, security, and cloud costs.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventive measures.
• Plan backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity strategies.
• Implement AI-assisted tooling for monitoring, incident investigation, and automation.
