Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Subang Jaya is seeking a Cloud Technical Engineer to design and implement cloud-based solutions, optimize infrastructure, and ensure security and scalability across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

You will deploy resources, set up CI/CD pipelines, manage IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and work with teams to modernize applications. English communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related technical discipline or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.
• 2 years and above working experience in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Fresh graduates welcome.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Ability to design scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant cloud solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in analyzing their existing application infrastructure and propose suitable cloud platform and architecture.
• Design and architect cloud-based solutions aligning with client requirements, including infra setup, data management, security, scalability, and DR.
• Configure and deploy cloud resources (VMs, storage, networking, containers) following best practices.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI/CD; automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Use IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage infrastructure and version control configurations.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and administer Windows and Linux in cloud environments.
• Assist in modernizing software applications to cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Troubleshoot, manage, and report problem resolution including root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to promote customer satisfaction and data security.
• Explore new cloud technologies and innovations, especially in DevOps, Data Analytics, AI/ML.
