Job summary

Ikigaienablers in Bangsar South, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the on-site team. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment, and platform engineering across AWS and Azure, with an emphasis on security and governance.

You will build IaC with Terraform, manage Kubernetes via Docker, Helm, and GitOps, develop CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and support Azure-to-AWS migrations in a multi-cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud/Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS and Azure.
• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure design, implementation and administration.
• Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Helm.
• Experience with AWS EKS and/or Azure AKS.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our shared services team and support cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment, and platform engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with AWS and Azure, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud security. Experience in Azure-to-AWS cloud migration is highly preferred. You will work closely with cloud platform and infrastructure teams to build secure, scalable, highly available and well‑governed cloud environments while supporting DevSecOps and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Work closely with cloud platform teams to ensure infrastructure follows security, governance and cloud best practices.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including AKS/EKS environments.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, Kubernetes, deployment and production issues.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS and Azure.
• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure design, implementation and administration.
• Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Helm.
• Experience with AWS EKS and/or Azure AKS.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Experience with cloud migration, particularly Azure‑to‑AWS migration.
