Job summary

TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking a Lead Development Engineer (Kenyalang) to mature offshore development projects from feasibility to FEED. You will drive front-end studies, cost estimation, and planning while coordinating across subsurface, operations, and regulatory teams in a complex oil and gas environment.

The role requires strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, deep FEED experience, and a solid understanding of Malaysian regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

Experience in feasibility studies, concept engineering, development planning.
Familiarity with PETRONAS standards and Malaysian regulatory frameworks.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate development studies across feasibility, conceptual and pre-project phases.
Drive planning, concept selection, and cost estimation for greenfield and brownfield projects.
Coordinate with subsurface, engineering, operations, commercial and regulatory stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance, technical standards and PETRONAS/Malaysian regulations.
Oversee study processes and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Manage handovers from pre-project to FEED and execution.
