Job summary

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in database administration/engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle, MySQL and MariaDB.
• Proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning.
• Solid Unix/Linux environment knowledge.
• Experience with Sybase databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Oracle/MySQL/MariaDB databases.
• Ensure security, backup/recovery strategies, and compliance.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot proactively.
• Monitor health and perform regular maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams on schema design and query optimization.
• Provide support during incidents and participate in on-call rotation if needed.
• Maintain documentation and procedures.
