Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in database administration/engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, MySQL, and MariaDB.
• Strong SQL and database performance tuning skills.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with Sybase databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Oracle/MySQL/MariaDB database solutions.
• Ensure database security, backup/recovery strategies & compliance.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Monitor system health and conduct regular maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams on schema design & query optimization.
• Provide support during incidents and participate in on-call rotation if needed.
• Administer and maintain database environments; perform upgrades and migrations.
• Maintain documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
