Job summary

StarHub Ltd is seeking a Principal Data Platform Engineer to lead and scale the DXP Data Platform Engineering and Operations. The role focuses on reliability, scalability, and security across AWS, Snowflake, SageMaker, and Datapipe, driving automation and engineering maturity for data and AI workloads enterprise-wide.

The position involves owning end-to-end infrastructure, guiding platform design, implementing Day 2 operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align roadmaps,

Qualifications

8-10 years of experience in cloud and platform engineering.
Experience leading Day 2 operations and incident response.
Familiarity with ITSec and compliance standards (IAM, KMS, PDPA/GDPR).

Responsibilities

Own AWS infrastructure for DXP Data Platform (multi-AZ, multi-VPC).
Administer Snowflake environments including RBAC and cost controls.
Operate DataPipes (EKS + Airflow) with IaC version control.
Maintain logging, monitoring, observability and DevOps automation.
Design and implement platform features across AWS, Snowflake, SageMaker.
Lead rollout and hardening of platform components for production.
Develop design standards and documentation for automation.
Implement Day 2 enhancements including auto-scaling and CI/CD.
