Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Manager (Data Engineering) to lead the design and delivery of data platforms, cloud-based solutions, and large-scale transformation initiatives for clients across industries.

You will work closely with data architects, scientists, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable data architectures, mentoring a team of data engineers and driving governance and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in data engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience leading client-facing technical teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data engineering engagements across client projects.
• Design, develop and implement scalable data pipelines and lakehouse architectures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead cloud-based data transformation programs on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Mentor data engineers and conduct architecture reviews and optimization.
• Support business development activities and solutioning workshops.
