Job summary

GXBank is seeking a senior data engineer to design and maintain scalable ELT data pipelines in Snowflake. You will build and optimize pipelines with dbt, orchestrate workflows in Airflow, and develop connectors in Python to ingest data from diverse sources.

You will implement batch and streaming ingestion, optimize warehouses for cost and performance, enforce data governance and security, and contribute to schema design and data loading strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on SQL or data warehousing experience.
• Experience building complex ELT pipelines with dbt.
• Proficient in Apache Airflow (DAGs, Operators, Sensors, XComs).
• Strong Python scripting for data manipulation and API integration.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling.
• Knowledge of RBAC, data masking, and privacy practices.
• Experience with Snowflake features like Snowpipe and external stages.
• Ability to design scalable, cost-efficient data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain ELT data pipelines using dbt for Snowflake.
• Orchestrate data workflows with Apache Airflow for reliable delivery.
