Job summary

PowTech Solution is seeking a Data Engineer with strong Python fundamentals and hands‑on ETL experience. You will design, develop, and maintain ETL connectors and data pipelines using our Python‑based framework, while ensuring reliable, scalable data flows for enterprise B2B systems.

You will work with APIs, cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift), and AI coding tools to prototype pipelines fast, maintaining focus on data quality and security as part of an AU/NZ based team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3–7 years of hands‑on data engineering or software development experience.
Strong Python skills and solid experience with ETL/ELT and pipeline design.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and connectors to SaaS applications.
Build data pipeline logic with Python and expose to cloud data warehouses.
Leverage AI coding tools to prototype pipelines while maintaining quality.
Integrate with APIs, handle data exchange and secure communications.
Manipulate data using Python dataframes and third‑party packages.
Conduct testing and QoS checks to ensure reliability and scalability.
Understand enterprise B2B data systems to build effective solutions.
