Job summary

Genki Sushi Malaysia is seeking an experienced Data Management & Technical Development lead to oversee MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL and DuckDB based data platforms. You will design scalable data solutions, implement data ingestion from SAP ECC6, optimize T-SQL, and orchestrate ETL workloads to deliver reliable analytics.

The role focuses on performance tuning, data modelling (star and snowflake), data quality, and governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in data/analytics consulting or data warehouse delivery.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modelling (star & snowflake) and SCDs.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server and T-SQL development.
• Experience with SSIS and data pipelines; SAP ECC6/SAP S/4HANA a plus.
• SQL mandatory; PowerShell and Python are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data warehouse delivery and platform optimization.
• Design and optimize data schemas, partitioning and indexing.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across pipelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Mentor team and participate in governance discussions.
