Job summary

QL Resources Berhad is seeking a Senior Data Engineering Executive to design, build and operate the enterprise data platform on Microsoft Fabric. You will deliver reliable analytics-ready data, powering AI and self-service BI across the organisation.

You will work on Lakehouse architecture, data ingestion from ERP and manufacturing systems, and ETL/ELT pipelines while applying governance and quality controls. Shah Alam-based role requiring 4–6 years in data engineering.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering, BI, warehousing or analytics experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise data pipelines and integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with Lakehouse concepts and Medallion Architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate enterprise data platform on Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and optimise data ingestion from ERP, manufacturing, finance and more.
• Create and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines for timely, accurate data delivery.
• Apply data governance, access control and data quality standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and raise data literacy across teams.
• Support performance, cost optimisation and continuous improvement
