Job summary

Ørsted is looking for a data engineer to develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines and support internal data platforms. You will help evolve and maintain data engineering and ingestion pipelines within Ørsted Data Ecosystem to enable data-driven decisions across the organisation.

You’ll work in a global team delivering value across the business, using Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud technologies to build scalable pipelines and governance practices, with a focus on security, stability, and

Qualifications

Must have professional data engineering experience in data analytics and ETL/ELT.
Strong hands-on Python and SQL skills with DevOps/CI-CD knowledge.
Experience with Spark/PySpark, Kafka or NiFi.
Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and container tech (Kubernetes, Docker).
Curious and eager to learn; able to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Developing production-grade and peer-reviewed data ingestion pipelines.
Ensure data is accessible with security, stability, and performance in mind.
Collaborate with data engineers, architects and stakeholders to solve data engineering problems.
Contribute to developing capabilities and governance of the data platform.
Set up monitoring and orchestration of data pipelines.
