Job summary

DHL Group is seeking an experienced professional to shape and govern the Data & AI landscape for Corporate Finance in APAC, based in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, with collaboration across India. You will drive modern data architecture, data products and AI solutions aligned with DHL Group strategy and enterprise standards.

You will lead global transformation initiatives, manage data products, and ensure alignment with governance, security and architecture frameworks while partnering with Finance and IT

We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Cyberjaya, Malaysia & Chennai, India.

Job Purpose

Shaping and governing the Data & AI landscape of Corporate Finance, driving modern Data Architecture, Data Products and AI solutions aligned with DHL Group architecture, platform strategy and business objectives

Your tasks

• Treasury & Finance Data Architecture and Innovation:
  
  
  
  • Define and drive the strategic Data & AI Architecture for Treasury and Finance ensuring alignment with the DHL Group BI & Data platform strategy for Finance Domain, including Microsoft Azure Lakehouse / Microsoft Fabric architecture and SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
  
  
  • Design and govern Treasury & Finance Data Products aligned with Finance strategy, business priorities and the DHL Group BI & Data strategy.
  
  
  • Drive innovation in AI-powered Finance solutions, AI Agents, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation and Advanced Analytics.
  
  
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for Finance and Treasury transformation.
  
  
  • Ensure alignment of Data, Analytics and AI solutions with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Data Protection and Data Governance standards.
  
  
  
  


• Project and Product management:
  
  
  
  • Lead global Data, Analytics and AI transformation initiatives, including planning, budgeting, governance and delivery assurance.
  
  
  • Drive the migration from Power BI to Microsoft Fabric and the modernization of the Corporate Finance analytics landscape.
  
  
  • Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale analytics and data solutions across Treasury, Pensions, M&A and other Finance domains.
  
  
  • Manage Data Products and AI applications throughout their lifecycle.
  
  
  • Manage budgets, governance, risks and stakeholder engagement across Business, Enterprise Architecture, IT Services, Data & AI communities and external partners.
  
  
  • Prepare executive decision papers, management presentations and steering committee materials.
  
  
  
  


• Business Partner and IT Demand Management:
  
  
  
  • Act as the strategic IT partner for Treasury & Finance stakeholders on Data, Analytics and AI topics.
  
  
  • Translate business priorities into scalable data and AI solutions.
  
  
  • Lead business case development, architecture assessments, technology evaluations and roadmap definition.
  
  
  • Support RFI/RFP processes, vendor selection and governance approvals.
  
  
  • Provide strategic consulting and foster collaboration across Finance, IT, Data & AI and Architecture communities.
  
  
  
  

Your profile

• Experience delivering enterprise-scale Data, Analytics and AI solutions.


• Proven experience in defining and implementing Enterprise Data Architectures and modern Data Management frameworks.


• Strong expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lakehouse and SAP BDC as well as Data Fabric, Data Mesh, Data Products, Enterprise Data Modeling, Semantic Layers and AI Solution Architecture.


• Good understanding of Treasury and Corporate Finance processes, including Cash & Liquidity Management, Capital Markets, Risk Management and Financial Reporting.


• Experience leading strategic transformation and architecture initiatives in complex global environments.


• Sound knowledge of IT governance, information security, data protection and architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT).


• Business-fluent English


• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive complex initiatives end-to-end.


• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across business and IT.


• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable data and AI solutions.

Education Level

• University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Finance, or a comparable qualification.

Experience Level

• 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, BI & Analytics, AI Solutions or Enterprise Architecture, preferably within Finance or Treasury.
