Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to collect, clean, analyse, and interpret data from various sources to support business operations and management decision‑making. The role will be responsible for maintaining data quality, developing and maintaining databases and reporting systems, identifying trends and patterns, and transforming complex data into meaningful business insights.

The successful candidate will work closely with management and other stakeholders to improve data processes, reporting systems, and data governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract and consolidate data from primary and secondary data sources using automated tools and processes.
• Clean, validate, and transform data by identifying and resolving data quality issues, corrupted data, coding errors, and inconsistencies.
• Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and reporting structures to ensure data is organised, accessible, and presented in a readable format.
• Perform data analysis to assess the quality, accuracy, completeness, and business relevance of data.
• Review reports and performance indicators to identify data or coding issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Use statistical and analytical tools to identify, analyse, and interpret patterns, trends, and relationships within complex datasets.
• Assign and develop appropriate numerical measures and KPIs to evaluate business performance and enable comparison across different periods.
• Analyse local, national, and global trends that may impact the organisation and its industry.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards, and analysis for management, highlighting key trends, patterns, and findings.
• Translate complex data and analytical results into clear and actionable insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and management team, to identify opportunities for process improvement, enhance operational efficiency, and recommend data‑driven system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the F&B industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualisation tools.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of data cleaning, transformation, validation, and statistical analysis.
• Basic understanding of database structures, data pipelines, APIs, and automated data extraction is an advantage.
• Good understanding of data quality and data governance principles.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in a field that emphasizes on statistical and analytical skills is desired. Students from mathematics, statistics, computer science, or economics background have an edge.
