Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead nursing care within the unit. You will perform professional nursing care, supervise and coordinate activities, and ensure documentation and doctor’s orders are followed.

The role requires a valid Malaysian Nursing Board license, at least 3 years of clinical experience, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, MTLS, PALS, and NRP. Candidates must communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia and be willing to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Post Basic qualification in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead in patient care and nursing decisions, ensuring high-quality care.
• Direct supervision and coordination of unit/ward activities.
• Ensure doctor’s orders are followed and proper handovers during shifts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and report incidents to Unit Manager.
• Actively participate in quality improvement and audit activities.
