Job summary

FRD Performance Motorsport (M) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a veteran Art Director/ Creative Manager to lead visual design across print, digital, and branded materials. You will guide video projects from storyboard to post-production, ensure seamless integration of graphics, animations, and VFX, and mentor junior designers.

You will collaborate with marketing to elevate the brand, keep design standards high, and stay ahead of trends in automotive visuals. A strong portfolio is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience as an Art Director or Creative Manager in the video production, advertising, arts or media industry.
• Experience in the AUTOMOTIVE field is an added advantage.
• Exceptional creative and conceptual abilities with a strong portfolio showcasing design expertise.
• Proficiency in industry-standard video editing and design software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related creative field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and execute compelling visual designs across print, digital, and branded materials
• Collaborate with the production team to conceptualise and develop compelling visual concepts for video content
• Oversee and guide the creative direction of video projects, from storyboarding to post-production
• Ensure the seamless integration of design elements, such as graphics, animations, and visual effects, into the final video output
• Provide creative input and feedback to the production team to maintain the highest standards of quality and creativity
• Manage and mentor junior members of the creative team to foster their professional development
• Ensure design projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies to continuously innovate visual identity
• Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to enhance the overall brand experience
