Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to support local accounting/finance operations in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will report to the Finance Manager and collaborate with operations teams, helping cross-facilities when needed.

Key tasks include month-end close, cost analysis, and standard costing ownership. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in cost accounting, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Oracle/BPC/SAP.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in accounting or related field with relevant experience.
• 5–7 years of cost accounting experience.
• Strong cost accounting knowledge and understanding of policies.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, BPC, SAP) is beneficial.
• Demonstrates Korean language proficiency (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Month end reporting and close for inventory, purchasing, and AR.
• Perform month end close for various cost and financial processes.
• Analyze project margins and monthly cost performance.
• Conduct sales and margin analysis.
• Process month end journals, accruals, prepayments and recharges.
• Manage fixed asset accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee standard costing and cost system ownership.
• Data analysis for cost and manufacturing within the business.
