Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to support local accounting operations and collaborate with operations and other facilities as needed. The role reports to the Finance Manager and emphasizes month-end closing, cost control, and data analysis to improve margins.

The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA in a relevant field with 5–7 years of experience, strong Mandarin language proficiency, and hands-on experience with standard costing systems and manufacturing cost processes.

Qualifications

• Strong cost accounting knowledge and experience.
• General knowledge of accounting policies.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office products.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Ability to challenge the norm and look for better solutions/processes.
• Systems knowledge: Oracle, BPC, SAP would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Month end reporting.
• Close for Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Receivable.
• Project accounting – review margins monthly.
• Sales and margin analysis.
• Process month end journals, accruals, prepayments and recharges.
• Fixed asset accounting.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Standard costing system ownership.
