Job summary

Cheil Malaysia is seeking a Senior Copywriter who can turn insights, culture and ideas into compelling stories across branding and advertising. Collaborate with creative, brand and multidisciplinary teams to shape copy direction for campaigns.

Work hand-in-hand with Art Directors and designers to ensure words and visuals speak the same language, creating work that feels cohesive, fresh and culturally relevant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Advertising/Media, Linguistics/Languages or equivalent.
• Impeccable English writing skills with a keen eye for grammar and spelling.
• At least 6 years of working experience in the related field.
• Ability to evaluate creative relative to strategy and for executional impact.
• Conceptualize and develop creative copy pitches.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with creative, brand and multidisciplinary teams to shape copy direction for campaigns.
• Work with Art Directors and designers to ensure words and visuals speak the same language.
• Create high-quality copy across advertising, social, digital, film, activations and other touchpoints.
• Turn client briefs and business challenges into sharp, effective copy and creative solutions.
• Prepare and present creative ideas and campaigns confidently to clients.
