Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking a Control Engineer for our hybrid role in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will contribute to the design, specification, and delivery of sophisticated building control systems, leveraging DDC, PLC and BMS expertise.

You will lead controls engineering activities across project phases, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support proposals and client engagements to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial/ICT or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years post graduate experience across design to commissioning.
• Experience with DDC, PLC, and BMS systems.
• Knowledge of Malaysian standards and safety in design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, specification and delivery of control systems for buildings.
• Lead controls engineering across project phases.
• Prepare control system designs with BMS/PLC/SCADA.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and engineers.
• Support project planning and tender proposals.
