Job summary

Beauty Effect Store Sdn Bhd (owned SKINMADE) in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Senior Content Specialist to own end-to-end content for SKINMADE, Dermamed, and SKINMADE BABY. You will plan, script, shoot, edit, and appear on camera for campaigns and product launches.

You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Livestream, and Affiliate teams, translating marketing direction into scroll-stopping storytelling across TikTok, Shopee, and Lazada to drive conversions.

Qualifications

• Experience creating engaging short-form video for social commerce.
• Strong scripting and storytelling for product-led content.
• Experience editing video for campaigns and product launches.
• Comfortable on camera and delivering quick turnarounds.
• Experience with beauty/e-commerce platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan content calendars and translate marketing direction into topics and posting plans.
• Write scripts, hooks, captions, and content angles for product benefits.
• Produce: shoot and edit short-form video for education, demos, testimonials, trend content, and campaigns; on camera.
• Launch: deliver content assets and fast turnarounds for campaigns and launches, flag blockers early.
• Improve: track performance and apply learnings to future content.

Skincare that speaks. Content that converts. We're looking for a Senior Content Specialist who can turn product truth into scroll-stopping stories across TikTok, Shopee, Lazada, and beyond — from trending sound to shoot-ready brief.

About the role

You'll own the content pipeline for SKINMADE, Dermamed, and SKINMADE BABY end-to-end: planning, scripting, filming, editing, and being on camera when needed. You'll work closely with Marketing, Creative, Livestream, and Affiliate teams, especially during major campaigns, product launches, and payday sales.

What you'll do

• Plan: Build content calendars and translate marketing direction into concrete topics, formats, and posting plans
• Write: Craft scripts, hooks, captions, and content angles that turn product benefits into content people want to watch
• Produce: Shoot and edit short-form video — product education, demos, testimonials, trend content, and conversion-driven campaigns; comfortable on camera
• Launch: Deliver content assets and fast turnarounds for campaigns and product launches, flagging blockers early
• Improve: Track what's working (hooks, retention, engagement, conversion) and apply learnings to future content

What you'll bring

• Proven short-form video experience for TikTok, Shopee, or similar social commerce platforms
• Strong scripting/storytelling instincts and comfort on camera
• Hands-on video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
• Sharp trend awareness with good brand judgment
• Highly organised, able to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines
• Bonus: experience in beauty/skincare or e-commerce marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop)
