Job summary

BWC Construction Sdn Bhd, a Malaysia-based construction company, is seeking a Safety and Health Officer (Construction) to oversee site safety on infrastructure projects. The role requires a valid DOSH Green Book, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of local safety regulations.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid registered Green Book with DOSH.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience specifically in infrastructure related construction projects.
Strong knowledge of local safety legislation, excellent leadership, and clear communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Ensure all site activities strictly comply with OSHA regulations and DOSH guidelines.
Prepare, review, and monitor HIRARC and JSA for project activities.
Conduct site safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and safety training for workers.
Ensure proper use of PPE by all personnel on site.
Investigate accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences, and near misses, and prepare investigation reports with corrective and preventive actions.
Work closely with authorities such as DOSH and Environment on HSE matters.
Ensure machinery policies, procedures and instructions comply with DOSH regulations.
Submit monthly safety reports.
Initiate & conduct quarterly safety committee meetings.
