Job summary
Jora Malaysia is seeking a construction/HVAC engineer to support project proposals, plans and coordination with management. You will liaise with customers to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and schedules, and interpret design requirements to meet specifications.
The role requires understanding of HVAC design, thermodynamics and related standards, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel and Microsoft Office; MS Project is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or construction management.
- 1+ year in construction, site supervision, or HVAC engineering is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of HVAC design, psychrometric charts, thermodynamics is an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Microsoft Project is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project proposals, plans and coordinate with management.
- Liaise with customers to prepare, execute and fulfil project deliverables and schedules.
- Understand project specifications by studying design, requirements and standards.
- Assign personnel to project phases and review subcontractor quotations.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress and coordinating activities.
