Job summary

Turner & Townsend is a global professional services firm delivering outcomes across real estate, infrastructure, and energy projects. A senior construction project manager is sought to lead in a Project Management Consultancy framework, directing contractor and vendor management and ensuring schedule, cost, and quality controls throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 10–15+ years in construction management, a relevant degree, and PMP or Chartered membership would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• 10–15+ years of experience in construction management within a PMC framework.
• Certifications preferred: PMP or Chartered Membership (IEM, RICS, PE).

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction management activities within a PMC framework.
• Lead contractor and vendor management and drive progress and risk mitigation.
• Monitor cost & change control; review payments, variations and delay claims.
• Track schedule and progress; enforce recovery strategies when delays occur.
• Coordinate QA/QC & HSE with client and EoR; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Interface with client executives, engineers, and authorities regularly.
• Direct testing, commissioning, and handover documentation at project closeout.
