Job summary

Air Liquide Maritime Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical (Rotary) System Engineer in Malaysia, Petaling Jaya. The role focuses on delivering rotating equipment packages within contractual requirements, quality, schedule, and cost targets for offshore/maritime projects.

The candidate should have an engineering degree and 7+ years of experience with large machinery, along with familiarity with international and national standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Bachelor's) required.
• 7+ years' experience in large machinery.
• Familiar with international & national standards.
• Experience with compressors, turbines, pumps and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical specs for rotating equipment.
• Perform technical bid evaluations and recommendations.
• Set-up purchase technical specs for rotating equipment.
• Vendor document review/approval for rotating equipment.
• Equipment inspections at vendor sites as required.
• Support proposal development with equipment technical solutions.
• Site assistance to reply to site queries.
• Coordinate with other discipline engineers and procurement/planning.
