Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Corporate & Legal Compliance professional to oversee board resolutions, statutory filings, and internal compliance protocols at the site. The role includes PDPA duties, audits, training, and regulatory licensing coordination.

You will act as liaison with external bodies, manage enforcement responses, and support the Legal Affairs Leader, collaborating with HR, IT, and Procurement to sustain governance across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in corporate compliance.
• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian PDPA 2010, MACC Act 2009, SSM filings, LHDN rules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate compliance tasks including board resolutions and timely SSM filings.
• Lead Stamp Duty administration and ensure 30-day processing in STAMPS.
• Act as DPO and drive PDPA compliance with audits and staff training.
• Coordinate regulatory licensing and respond to enforcement notices.
• Prepare HQ compliance reports and liaise with external auditors and authorities.
