Job summary

Zurich Cover-More, a global travel insurance and assistance provider, is hiring a claims specialist in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage complex travel insurance claims end-to-end, applying sound judgement, analysis and clear communication to deliver timely, fair outcomes for customers and the business.

Key responsibilities include investigating and settling claims, reviewing policy coverage, liaising with claimants, employers, medical providers and service partners, and keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience in claims handling within insurance, travel, or customer service.
• Strong analytical, numeracy and attention to detail.
• High proficiency in English with clear communication.
• Ability to manage a complex workload and meet deadlines.
• Confidence engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
• Solutions-focused mindset to identify issues and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex claims with investigation and settlement.
• Analyse policy coverage and records to determine liability.
• Engage with customers to clarify queries and next steps.
• Communicate with claimants, employers, medical providers and others.
• Proactively manage claim portfolios to meet SLAs and reduce delays.
• Set and adjust claim reserves within authority.
• Identify subrogation opportunities or fraud risks.
• Maintain complete claim documentation in systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and evolving needs.
