Job summary

Zurich Cover-More in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced claims professional to manage complex travel insurance claims end-to-end, applying sound judgement and clear communication to achieve timely, fair outcomes for customers and the business.

You will analyse policy coverage, engage with customers and external parties, and maintain rigorous documentation while meeting service levels and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in claims handling within insurance or travel insurance environments.
• BCP & PGI Certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong analytical, numeracy and attention to detail.
• High proficiency in English with clear writing and speaking.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building.
• Solutions-focused mindset to identify issues and improve processes.
• Ability to work under pressure with sound judgement.
• Integrity and professionalism; capable of independent and collaborative work.
• Experience identifying or referring subrogation or fraud risks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex claims through investigation, assessment and settlement.
• Analyse policy coverage and supporting records to determine liability.
• Engage with customers to clarify queries and explain next steps.
• Communicate with claimants, employers, medical providers and service providers to gather information.
• Proactively manage claim portfolios using diary and workflow controls to meet SLAs.
• Set, review and adjust claim reserves within delegated authority.
• Identify subrogation opportunities or fraud risks and refer to specialists.
• Provide high-quality service throughout the claims lifecycle.
• Maintain complete claim documentation in relevant systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and evolving business needs.
