Job summary

Tecomet, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to troubleshoot multi-axis milling, complex turning, and EDM operations. You will leverage CAD/CAM tools and G-code/macros to develop robust programs for a range of machines and platforms.

You will collaborate with NPI and engineering teams, generating setup docs and in-process specs while driving continuous improvement and tooling optimization on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years programming CNC machines; 5+ years in precision machining.
• Lean manufacturing training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains CNC programs for multi-axis machines including mills and lathes.
• Creates setup documentation and supports operators on the shop floor.
• Collaborates with NPI/DFM teams on new production processes and revisions.
• Provides technical expertise for machining solutions and process validation.
• Works with vendors to source tooling and improve productivity.
