Job summary

Permodalan Nasional Berhad invites a seasoned professional for the role of Assistant Vice President, Cloud Security Engineer to shape and drive our enterprise cloud security program across multi-cloud environments.

The role focuses on defining strategy, governance, and guardrails for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and CI/CD pipelines while leading risk remediation and collaborating with technology and business stakeholders to align cloud security with organizational risk appetite.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity or related field.
8–10 years in cybersecurity/cloud security with hands-on cloud exposure.
Strong understanding of IAM, network security, logging/monitoring, threat detection.
Familiarity with CASB, CSPM, CWPP, CIEM across AWS/Azure/GCP.
At least one recognized cybersecurity/cloud security certification.
Experience leading cloud security initiatives and governance.
Knowledge of Policy-as-Code and IaC tools (Terraform/ARM/Bicep/CFN).
Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2.

Responsibilities

Define, maintain, and execute the enterprise cloud security strategy and governance across multi-cloud environments; establish guardrails and reference architectures.
Provide architectural oversight for secure cloud designs and landing zones; govern core cloud security control domains.
Own cloud identity security, privileged access, and secrets management across CI/CD pipelines.
Oversee secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices, define developer guardrails, and manage remediation prioritisation and risk acceptance.
Lead end-to-end closure of cloud security findings through triage, remediation, stakeholder coordination, and validation.
