Job summary

Starhub Ltd in Malaysia seeks a Cloud Security Manager to lead the security posture of cloud environments, overseeing security architecture, governance, incident response, and operations. The role partners with cloud engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure cloud deployments.

The candidate will drive security-by-design across AWS workloads, manage risk assessments, and coordinate audits with cross-functional teams to strengthen overall cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in AWS cloud security and architecture.
• Experience with IAM governance, encryption, network security, and secure cloud design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AWS cloud security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Design, review, and approve secure AWS architectures and RBAC-based IAM controls.
• Oversee cloud security operations, monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
• Lead risk assessments, audits, and documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, Network, and GRC teams to embed security-by-design.
